Konstantinos Kampantais

He was born in Thessaloniki, where he began his violin studies at the age of six. He completed his studies at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki (class of E. Delfinopoulou), graduating with Honors and 2nd Prize, while he also holds a degree from the Department of Music Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He pursued his higher education in Germany at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen (class of Prof. N. Jashvili), graduating with Honors.
He has received distinctions in national and local competitions (2nd Prize from the Alumni Association of Thessaloniki Conservatories, 3rd Prize in the National Student Competition), as well as a scholarship from the Austrian-Hellenic Association. His artistic activity includes numerous solo recitals, chamber music concerts, and appearances in international festivals and conferences both in Greece and abroad.
Since 2017, he teaches violin at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and is a permanent member of the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (First Violins).
