Roza Terzian
Rosa Terzian was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. She began her musical studies on the violin and the piano at the age of six.
In 1992 she started viola lessons, at first with Mikis Michaelidis and later with Lutz Kuehne, with whom she completed her studies at “Sychrono Conservatory of Thessaloniki”, receiving First Price upon Graduation.At the same time, she completed her piano and theoretical studies with Honors in 1999.
In 2000, she attended the Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik in Trossingen, Germany, where she studied with Prof. James Creitz.
She was a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
She also studied at various Master-classes with Stelios Kafantaris, Roland Vamos, Bruno Pasquier, Yosif Radionov, Isabel Villa, Ara Malikian, Vladimir Antonov, Paris Anastasiadis, Tassos Adamopoulos, Vladimir Mendelssohn and Chara Seira.
Since 2002 Rosa is a permanent member of the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, also having Co-Principal Viola duties.
She has performed in Greece and abroad, participating in various chamber music ensembles, such as Thessaloniki String Ensemble and Orpheus Soloists. She is currently a member of LYNX string quartet.
She has appeared as a soloist with Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
She is teaching Viola at the “New Conservatory of Thessaloniki”.
