The Thessaloniki Concert Hall was almost crowded yesterday by the lovers of music that enjoyed Alena Baeva, who gave an amazing performance in Tchaikovsky's “Violin Concerto”. Afterwards, Alena Baeva gave the audience a memorable bis of a violin sonata by Eugène Ysaÿe.
The performance started with the classical beauty of Mozart's “Symphony nr.39” and then followed the Panhellenic premiere of “Con brio” (2008) of the contemporary Berlin composer Jörg Widmann. The TSSO conducted by Zoi Tsokanou.
